Star Wars LCG Game Day (3rd Sunday of each month)

E-mail Print

Please join us on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm for Star Wars LCG Game Day!

Star Wars LCG Game Day is open to interested Players, new (still learning) Players and Veteran Players!
This Game Day will have something for everyone!  Even if you've never played before, please come out and check it out!

The idea is to offer an easy-access and central location for Players to meet and play as well as to even get more people playing, through demos or exposure as the group plays.

In Star Wars: The Card Game, light side and dark side players duel for the fate of the galaxy.
hile the light side player races to make tactical strikes against dark side objectives, the dark side player works to reinforce his position of command.

During their battles, players will command some of the galaxy's most memorable characters and starships.
They'll send Han Solo and Rebel troopers to engage Imperial forces on Endor's forest moon, or launch fleets of Star Destroyers from the Kuat ship yards.
Stormtroopers, smugglers, X-wings, TIEs, and bounty hunters will all make appearances, too.
Of course, there will be epic lightsaber duels as well, and players will be able to recreate the classic confrontations between Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader.

Android: Netrunner LCG Game Day (3rd Sunday of each month)

E-mail Print

Please join us on the 3rd Sunday of each month from 1:00 pm to 6:00 pm for an Android: Netrunner LCG Game Day!

Android: Netrunner LCG Game Day is open to interested Players, new (still learning) Players and Veteran Players!  This Game Day will have something for everyone!
Even if you've never played before, please come out and check it out!

The idea is to offer an easy-access and central location for Players to meet and play as well as to even get more people playing, through demos or exposure as the group plays.

Netrunner depicts cyberspace combat between a global mega-corporation (the Corp) and a hacker (the Runner). The Corp's goal is to complete their secret agendas before the Runner can hack in and steal their data.
It isn't easy, though, as the Corp has strong defensive data forts protected by malevolent computer programs known as ICE (short for Intrusion Countermeasures Electronics).
The Runner must use special programs of their own, called icebreakers, to break through and steal the hidden plans.
All this is paid for in the game by bits (representing currency), which are earned and spent during the course of play.

An interesting feature of Netrunner is that each side has different abilities and uses completely different cards distinguished by alternate card backs.
This contrasts with most other CCGs, which usually depict a "battle between peers" where each opponent draws upon the same card pool.
While a player does not have to play both sides except in tournament play, it is commonly held that a firm understanding of both leads to better overall player ability.

D & D: Adventures (every Tuesday Night)

ADVENTURES

Please join us at The Gamer’s Armory every Tuesday Night for D&D Adventures from 6:30pm to 9:30pm!

What is D&D Adventures?

D&D Adventures is RTR's unique evolution of D&D Encounters. Published modules, adventures from Dungeon Magazine, and homebrew scenarios all come together to allow players to experience epic adventures unlike anything but a home game can supply.

D&D Adventures is currently seeking additional GMs interested in running games at this weekly event. We're interested in hosting additional tables of D&D 3.5, D&D 4th Edition, and the D&D Next playtest rules.

At present, we have only one open table for D&D Adventures, with GM Matt Kimble presiding. If anyone is interested in running another table, please contact RTR Assistant Organizer Richard Moore to be added to the roster!

You are not required to participate each week--simply feel free to join us any week you are available to do so!

You will need to have a DCI number to play. You can obtain a DCI number when you attend your first D&D Adventures event if you do not already have one.
